He stressed on the importance of hosting an increasing numbers of students and trainees and providing qualified trainers, who would also monitor their performance during the training period.

GPIC, in the last few years, has taken great strides in the field of development and training in terms of quantity and content as part of its role in providing education and training and in supporting the overall development in Bahrain.

Practical training for students enrolled in local and foreign universities is also being provided at the company’s various departments according to their academic specialization in order to give them the opportunity to become aware of the requirements of the labor market.

This would also introduce them to the real work environment and challenges posed by the nature of the company's work while expanding their knowledge and technical skills.

The academy has the latest equipment, including a scale model of all factories. They students are trained by engineers and operators in addition to being exposed to simulator training, which enables them to monitor operations on different scenarios that may occur during actual operation.
