Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery has congratulated HH Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa on her appointment as INJAZ Bahrain Chairwoman and H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Janahi on his appointment as INJAZ Bahrain Deputy Chairperson.

        

Dr. Jawahery expressed confidence in HH Sheikha Hessa’s abilities and spoke about her dedication in supporting the young people and their requirements. He said she also regularly follows up on the foundation’s various activities and encourages a voluntary culture. He said HH Shaikha Hessa, who had been named Personality of the Year by a Dubai-based social responsibility network, always looked to help and encourage students.

Dr. Jawahery also praised Dr. Janahi and said he is one of Bahrain’s outstanding personalities, who has a wealth of experience in the field of leadership, dealing with the youth and helping them realize their dreams and aspirations. He said Dr. Janahi has a wealth of experience after his earlier stints at the University of Bahrain and Tamkeen.

Dr. Jawahery expressed confidence in the new leadership and its ability to continue to pursue its objectives while enhancing the quality services provided to students to ensure for them a bright and promising future. He said the foundation leadership’s support would help it strengthen its role within the community.

Dr. Jawahery said GPIC would continue to play a supporting role towards INJAZ Bahrain and would provide all possible assistance for it to achieve its objectives. He said the Company is proud of its partnership not only by providing support for its programmes but also by providing volunteers for its activities.

HH Sheikha Hessa thanked Dr. Jawahery, himself a former Chairman, and praised his outstanding leadership and tireless efforts during his tenure. She expressed her gratitude for GPIC’s continuous support and also thanked Ministry of Education officials for their support and cooperation.

HH Sheikha Hessa, speaking about H.E. Dr. Janahi, said he would live up to the challenge as he awaits a lot of work in the coming time.

The Board of Directors of INJAZ Bahrain includes representatives from the leading companies, including GPIC President Dr. Jawahery; Bahrain National Gas Company Chief Executive Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; Mr. Issa Al Jowder of Ernst & Young, Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayatt of Kuwait Finance House, Mr. Suttam Al Gosaibi from Khaleeji Commercial Bank, Mr. Osman Ahmed from Citi Bahrain and Mr. Riyadh Sater from BBK along with many other companies.

INJAZ Bahrain has carried out several awareness programmes in all of Bahrain’s Public and Private Schools. It has received many awards and honors in the field of commitment, cooperation, quality and communication, in addition to its availability and encouragement to the volunteer culture. The Foundation has reached more than 30,000 students thanks to the efforts of over 1,000 corporate volunteers.

In the last year, INJAZ Bahrain has enhanced its cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development and has included its volunteers to evaluate their efforts and work hours.

INJAZ Bahrain is a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire, prepare and encourage young people to keep pace with development to gain the necessary skills to enter the labour market and educate promising young people about the conditions of the labour market and opportunities in Bahrain. INJAZ Bahrain volunteers work hard to help and support Bahrainis, especially young people, and work to help them make the right decisions that would help them decide their future and make the right decisions.

INJAZ Bahrain is part of the worldwide Junior Achievement Organization, which has a presence in 119 countries. Its Board of Directors is run by a qualified elite of leading executives representing individuals and companies with a goal to inspire and prepare Bahrain's youth to succeed in the global economy.
