Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Managing Director H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Al-Musaiteer joined celebrations at the Company as it marked the successful completion of the ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 certification.

Company President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery presented the certificates to the Managing Director, in the presence of the Executive Management, the Chairman of the Labour Union and Company officials.

Dr. Jawahery said he was proud of the Company receiving this new certification, which reaffirms its efficiency and its commitment to the high standards.

The President spoke about the support of shareholders and Board Members in elevating the Company's operations and overcoming all obstacles. This, he said, contributed to the excellence GPIC is known for and its winning top awards at the regional and international levels.

Dr. Jawahery praised the opportunities provided by the Company to the work team, which contributed to enhancing their qualification and raising their competence and professional and technical capabilities. He said that GPIC is proud of all its employees who spared no effort to drive its operations.

He stressed the latest achievement is a matter of pride and confirms the ability of Bahraini employees to accomplish excellence at work. He said the Company, since its establishment, pays attention to its human elements, which it considers its true wealth.

Dr. Jawahery thanked the Chairman and the Board of Directors for their continuous follow-up of Company activities as well as their guidance on a commitment to implement international standards related to maintenance or occupational health and safety issues.

The Managing Director said the achievement is a source of pride and pride for the board and all employees. He said this is the result of joint efforts, including those of the chairman, the members of the board, the executive management and employees, who have contributed in implementing the Company policies.

He expressed the hope the Company moves forward and maintains its leading position in Bahrain and the region.

GPIC successfully passed all external audit requirements for ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 after being extensively audited for five days by the British Standards Institute (BSI), which ensured it complied with international standards.
