Queen Margrethe II Olive Oasis

On Saturday 5th February, 2011, HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, accompanied by HRH Prince Henrick, visited the GPIC Complex. During her visit, HRH opened the ‘Queen Margrethe II Olive Oasis’ in commemoration of this event. The Oasis includes various species of mature olive trees and Bahraini palm trees. After traversing the stunning greenery encapsulated within the garden, Her Majesty expressed her admiration of the beautifully landscaped Oasis with its many olive trees, palm trees and other greenery.
